Matt and I were honored to spend the day with Linda and Leo along with their two adorable children as they celebrated their marriage with friends and family. Sharing this special time with them was a great reminder of why we love photographing weddings. Everyone was so happy, the day was filled with lots of laughter which makes our job easy! We started out at their hotel room in the beautiful Hotel Commonwealth, I have to admit that getting ready is one of my favorite times to capture. It was especially fun with Sarah and John (their kids) who provided lots of little moments to capture as well as wonderful entertainment. We love kids! Their ceremony took place in a quiet corner of the Boston Gardens followed by a cocktail reception at the Baseball Tavern right across from Fenway Park. Thank you Linda and Leo having us be a part of your wedding day! We truly enjoyed getting to know you both better and Matt and I wish you both the very best! Here are some of our favorite images:
How cute are these two?! Matt and I met up with Heather and Ryan a couple weeks ago at beautiful, Good Harbor Beach (thank you guys for making the drive!). The clouds which threatened rain for much of day disappeared for us and we were left with gorgeous afternoon sunlight! We had a blast with these two and they helped us out by smiling the whole time. I know Matt and I are looking forward to heading down south (of Boston) for their seaside wedding next summer. Hear are some favorites!
A couple weeks ago Matt and I took a drive up to York Beach for an engagement session with one of our couples, Karlyn and Joe. Joe’s family has a house up there (yes, nows the proper time to be jealous!) and this is where they have spent many summers together. These two are so cute! They gave us a walking tour of the town and took us to a couple of their favorite spots. It really is such a beautiful place. We lucked out with gorgeous weather, beautiful location, adorable couple and to top it all off Matt and I got a taste of, hands down, the best oysters we’ve ever had! Thank you guys for introducing us to this gorgeous place!
You might remember Katie and Gabe from the images we posted of their recent engagement session at Crane Estate. Let me tell you, I knew these guys would be a lot of fun on their wedding day but I was completely unprepared me for just how relaxed and full of laughter Katie was when I arrived at her house two Friday’s ago. I thought for sure after the fog and relentless bugs these two endured during their engagement session that we would be greeted for their wedding with sunny sky’s. In-spite of the rain both Katie and Gabe smiled throughout the whole day, it was an absolutely beautiful wedding, Matt and I were both honored to be a part of it! On a side note… Although many couples are not thrilled at the prospect of rain on their wedding day, from the photographers end this does create the opportunity for some unique imagery that you wouldn’t get otherwise! There will be a slideshow following soon, for now I hope you enjoy looking through these images of their wonderful wedding! Congratulations Katie and Gabe!!!
Matt and I were excited to receive a call from these two about a month ago letting us know that they were going to be in town for a few days and asking if we could do their engagement session. We have booked many couples this year who live out of state but are having their weddings here in the Boston area (Skype has become a very useful to us!). We absolutely love this! The only downside is that many times we don’t get to do an engagement session or any sort of in person, face to face meet before the wedding day. Needless to say we were thrilled to be able to fit in a session with them before they tie the knot this October 2nd. Here are some of the images from their engagement session!
