Matt and I have had our eye on the cutest little red Radio Flyer wagon for the longest time, figuring it would be perfect for days at the beach with Aydon. This past Sunday we decided it would be a good time to pick one up, so while Aydon was with the sitter Matt and I had a blast at Toys R Us. Of course that afternoon Matt had to pull out the tools and put the wagon together! So that evening we decided to take Aydon out for a walk in his new toy. I just wanted to share a couple images from our little adventure!
Back in May Matt and I photographed Sabrina and Ron’s gorgeous wedding at Elm Bank, you may recognize them from our recent blog post which had our favorite photographs from their day. When we first met with Sabrina and Ron back in february, we learned that they were from Philadelphia and we knew they had hopes of doing their engagement session in their hometown. Although we didn’t get a chance to get together for a pre-wedding session. Just a couple weeks ago Matt and I were in Philly visiting some friends for the 4th and were lucky enough to meet up with Sabrina and Ron. Ron’s adorable kids, Alice and Max, joined us as well (mind you they are the absolute spitting image of Ron)! We wandered by historic Independence Hall and finished up our shoot at Franklin Fountain, one of Philly’s wonderful ice cream parlors. Matt and I both agreed that their Rootbeer Floats were easily the best we’ve had. Thank you to Sabrina and Ron (Alice and Max too!) for showing us around part of your city… and for the delicious ice cream! We hope you enjoy these images from your shoot!
On Sunday we had the opportunity to work with an amazing couple at Crane Beach in Ipswich, MA. I say Katie and Gabe were amazing not only because they were so much fun but because they were such troopers. Katie especially amazed me as the flies and mosquitoes came out for a hazy evening at Crane Estate before we went to the beach. Bug bites all around, Ariel and I releasing the shutter with one hand and swatting insects with the other. Katie and Gabe eventually running through the woods in a last ditch effort to escape. In the end however we came away with great images for their engagement session and all because they would not give up. Thank you both for staying to the end, we had a great time and hope you enjoy the photos.
When Heather and Brad suggested Halibut Point for their engagement session I was psyched! I’ve been wanting to do an engagement session there ever since Matt and I accidentally found it on one of our exploratory drives around Cape Ann. It is one of the most gorgeous, best kept, secrets of Cape Ann. When we met up with Brad and Heather this past monday afternoon, the fog had cleared and we were left with beautiful sunny skies spotted with amazing cloud patterns. We spent a couple hours wandering down by the ocean and at the quarry taking advantage of the great light. These two were so much fun to photograph. Matt and I are looking forward to their wedding this September. Here are some favorites!
Matt and I are working hard on editing all of Sabrina and Ron’s images from their wedding last Sunday at Elm Bank. We’re looking forward to having their slideshow up by tomorrow evening. For now I wanted to Share with you some of my favorite photographs from their wedding day. Sabrina looked absolutely gorgeous and it was quite apparent how hard she had worked planning every detail of their wedding day! This included polka dotted bow ties for the guys, Ron rocked a green and white one while the two groomsmen had pink and white complimenting their tan suites. I loved it! These two were an absolute joy to photograph, Sabrina started the day out a little shy of the camera but by the end of the day was hamming it up and modeling like a pro. They made our jobs easy and Matt and I had a blast. Thank you guys so much for sharing your special day with us!! We can’t wait to share more photographs with you but for now I’ll leave you with these:
