Matt and I had the pleasure of photographing Jess and Neils recent wedding at the Wellesley Country Club. Well, this morning Jess dropped me an email letting me know that they returned from their honeymoon and begging me to post just one picture to the blog. I can’t for the life of me just pick one, there are too many good ones, so I’ve put together some of my favorites from the beginning of the day. Jess and Neil, I hope you enjoy these first few images from your wedding day! Your slideshow will be up by the end of the week! Thank you both so much for choosing to work with AMW Studios, we truly loved being a part of your wedding day!
I’m sitting here editing all of the images from a recent wedding Matt and I photographed on Martha’s Vineyard and I wanted to share a couple images that stood out to me! In addition to all of the amazing images we capture of the bride/groom getting ready, family/wedding party formals, creative portraits of just the bride and groom and all of moments during the ceremony and reception… Matt and I are always looking for any creative, spontaneous portraits we can capture of you guests as they’re relaxing and enjoying the festivities.
Matt and I met up with these two at the beginning of the year. Nicole contacted us from LA (their hometown), Kevin was flying into Boston the following weekend for work and Nicole was coming along. They figured since neither had seen Boston and they were recently engaged, what better excuse to have some fun engagement pictures taken while they were visiting. I have to say going into the shoot Matt and I had no clue what to expect. We have a hard time finding couples who live around here who want to layer up in cute scarves, hats and jackets for a winter engagement session and they’re used to 75 degree winters! These two blew us away, not only did they show up dressed perfectly for a winter engagement session but I don’t think that I heard one single complaint about how cold it was… and let me tell you it was cold, one of those 15-20 mph windy days. If they were even the slightest bit cold they did an amazing job of hiding it and looking super relaxed… I mean really Matt and I had a hard time getting any photographs where they weren’t grinning from ear to ear. So, thank you Nicole and Kevin for being such good sports! Matt and I had a blast with you both and we’re so glad you love your pictures!

Ariel and Matt
As promised here are some of Matt and my favorite images from Chris and Lauren’s beautiful wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel this past fall. These two were amazing to work with, Lauren is absolutely gorgeous, Chris handsome, they’re both super funny and had Matt and I laughing with them the whole day. I’m going to keep the text short winded (especially since this post is pretty picture heavy) and let you enjoy the images! Chris and Lauren, thank you so much for choosing us to document your wonderful wedding day, it was an honor. We can’t wait to see you soon when we deliver your album!
