This past weekend Matt and I photographed Claire and Nathan’s gorgeous wedding at Lake Eden Events in Black Mountain. Lake Eden is home of the awesome LEAF Festival, located just 20 minutes from Asheville’s buzzing downtown area this gorgeous event space is a little oasis! The onsite reception barn has so much character and is perfect for couples who want a rustic but charming asheville barn wedding. The ground are stunning and have unlimited photographic possibilities and the cabins/lodging options for the bride and groom + wedding party/family are awesome! The weather held out despite impending dark storm clouds (show above) and a few sprinkles… Claire and Nathan’s lake eden wedding was such a joy to photograph and I’m so happy to share a few favorites from the day!

Congratulations you two! We can’t thank you enough for choosing AMW Studios to capture your day! Claire’s gorgeous lace wedding dress was one of my favorites to date! I’m so so happy to see wedding dresses with sleeves come back in style. Now there are some gorgeous strapless gowns for sure but I haven’t seen a single strapless dress (and believe me I’ve seen a ton of them) that has wowed me the way strappy wedding gowns have! Beautiful Claire!!! Oh my gosh… the boys had way to much fun posing outside the grooms cabin at Lake Eden… Love this one captured by Matt! I love this image of Claire and her father waiting patiently to walk down the aisle… There were tucked behind the house but were able to peak around the corner and watch the rest of the wedding party walk down the aisle. Lake Eden has a beautiful ceremony spot just above the lake! I think we can all agree that Claire is a gorgeous bride!! What a beautiful, fun wedding party Claire and Nate had… Not a bad view behind them either?!? This gorgeous field is located just next to Lake Eden’s wedding reception barn and makes a great spot for portraits. The staff at Lake Eden were awesome, super friendly and helpful… One of the ladies even gave us a ride to some popular photo spots on the property which saved us a little time over walking! This gorgeous maple tree right next to the water was the perfect setting for a few wedding portraits in the shade! The colorful flowers Claire and Nathan choose looked awesome on the tables at the reception… How gorgeous are these cakes by 67 Biltmore who was the amazing caterer for all the yummy food at the wedding! Yet again Matt’s nails it with an awesome end of the night photo in front of Lake Eden’s gorgeous barn!
