This fall wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains made my heart so happy. Covid hit the wedding industry like a trainwreck & most of my big weddings in 2020 postponed but a few of my couples changed gears altogether and decided to elope or like Melissa & Chad, planned super special intimate weddings with just a small group of their favorite people.
October in the Blue Ridge Mountains is something special & the color palette Melissa chose complimented the natural beauty so well. These two and their immediate family & close friends stayed at Leatherwood Mountain Resort tucked in the mountains near Blowing Rock, NC. The lodge they rented had space for their ceremony and also a beautiful dinner in the grand living room that looks out over the mountains. Post dinner everyone moved outside to dance the night away!
